Little Hands are Ready for St. Patrick's Day Top o' the morning to you! This Saturday is St. Patrick's Day! Yay for random green foods and activities. Usually, this holiday is quite confused in its meaning and celebration. It's the day that Ireland celebrates the saint that brought their country Christianity. It's a great time to talk to kids about spreading their faith and reaching out to others. Today, we made some green homemade playdoh and played with pipe cleaners to make shamrocks. We found Ireland on the map and talked about how St. Patrick went to tell the people about God a long, long time ago (the 6th century if you have older kids that would understand.) I included the recipe for the playdoh. I hope everyone enjoys the weekend and has fun making green breakfasts and playing with their new playdoh! Happy St. Patrick's day! Playdoh Recipe
